In January
A Daydream
Kerosene lantern full of burning love Old Smoke lights nights like the stars above
January wood fires and Pendleton Reap September maul swinging in remembrance
Early morning mine and the evening yours All the hours in between are for the mountain moors
Coffee and chamomile begin and end We sleep so we can wake just to be here again
A cold nose cabin and a sweetheart warm A snow day spent beneath a passing storm
The lifelong daydream to be there alone With you in that place that always feels like home

Beautiful! Love the scene you paint with words!
Love it Nate!
